Illustrator/Comic Artist
While at The University of Texas, I served as a Senior Staff Member for The Daily Texan, a student-led newspaper, where I published my own recurring comic strip. Conceptualized and illustrated entirely by me, "Eclectic" explored everything from highly relatable situations to terrible puns. Beyond my own strip, I collaborated closely with writers and editors to create illustrations for news and opinion pieces, ensuring the artwork accurately captured and complemented each article's core message. To keep up with the fast-paced newsroom environment, I managed a rigorous production schedule and consistently met strict editorial deadlines.
The gallery below features a selection of my published editorial illustrations and "Eclectic" comic strips in both color and black-and-white.
