My first steps into my graphic design career were with Dobie Twenty21, a student housing complex at the University of Texas at Austin. At the time it was privately owned, but it is now currently owned by The University of Texas. I was employed as a resident assistant; however, my role developed heavily into marketing for the complex. We did not have a marketing team, but I had experience with design programs, so I was regularly tasked with creating artwork to promote our community and the leasing of apartments.
The graphics below were all created in my time there. For the steps ad, I counted the individual steps to different landmarks around the university to show their proximity to the apartment complex.
